Growing up, my Mom was quite the fashionista (still is) and taught me a couple important fashion lessons in life:
1. Always look your best for the occasion, no matter what it is.
2. Wear colors.
3. Make sure your bag matches your outfit.

I still carry these lessons with me today, but I will say, I’ve lagged on number 3 quite a bit. I used to be a whiz at making sure my bag matched my outfit, spending nights before a big event finding the “it purse” in my closet to perfectly match my #OOTD. Nowadays, I consistently use the same large Michael Kors tote for work, going out and running errands; Lord knows that as much as I would like to have the time to change my purse for everyday, I just don’t always have the time. Plus, Gedalya and I are on a strict budget, so I’ve taken a step back from making any major or minor fashion purchases unless it is extremely needed. I’ve tried making my case that a Hermès Birkin Bag is NEEDED in my life, but I guess Gman doesn’t necessarily see that as a “fashion emergency”. (PS - Totally kidding as a Birkin is waaayyyy out of budget right now, but a girl can dream!)

As fate would have it, I was able to snag a couple purses during this financial journey. I needed something:

I came across Konfigur Bags and saw how versatile and beautifully crafted the bags were. Since I’m used to a larger bag, I made sure to carry only my essentials, but I was able to fit what I needed in both the small and large clutch. I mainly used the Avenue Allure bag as a crossbody, but when I attended the wedding, I decided to use it as a clutch and it worked out so well!

The great thing about having a couple different purses from Konfigur is that I can mix and match the bags as I please for maximum styling options.
