Beauty Picks & Tricks: Hair Curling Tutorial
When I was about 10 years old, I received my first curling iron and I was hooked on the concept of having curly hair. It's not that I hate my straight hair, but I loved how soft waves added a little something special to my everyday look. Even at a young age, I realized the magic of curling hair. Now at the age of 24, I still hold on to that concept, which is why is pretty much why I curl my hair almost everyday. With that being said, I've pretty much mastered how to curl my hair and make it hold its shape all day long. I usually go with soft waves versus tight Shirley Temple curls. I love soft luscious curls that have slight volume and don't look too done. With countless compliments and questions on how exactly I do my hair, I decided to create this hair curling tutorial for you all. :)
My model for this post was my beautiful friend, Jasmine. She has beautiful, dark, straight hair that I absolutely LOVE. She says when she curls her hair, the curls don't always hold very well. After doing her hair for this tutorial, she mentioned later that her curls actually held for two days with no washing, which is awesome !

Hope you guys enjoyed this! I had so much fun doing Jas's hair and showing the transition from straight to soft waves. :)
Shout out to the amazing MJ Dadulla Media for helping me with this entry by taking pictures and creating this tutorial guide. Mel, you've done it again and you are AMAZING. ;)
Happy Thursday, lovebugs ! Xo
