I Am Thankful For... // Faithfully Honest

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!

I hope your day has been filled with spending quality time with loved ones, eating a lot of yummy food and relaxing. So far for me, my Thanksgiving this year has been pretty swell. I got to spend time with my Mom, who normally works on Thanksgiving. We spent some time going to her favorite church, eating a breakfast at iHop and eating a nice Thanksgiving lunch with Gman at my house. It was nice to gather around the table, talk about every topic that came to mind and genuinely enjoy each other's company as Christmas music blared in the background.

Although spending time with family/loved ones is one of the important parts of the holiday season, it's also a time of reflection. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Aside from the fact that this a day solely dedicated to eating a bunch of delicious food, it's also the time where the holiday season really kicks in and everything is HOLLY or JOLLY and MERRY and BRIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTT! (I've been listening to Christmas music all day, please forgive me.) During the stretch from Thanksgiving to New Year's, I love taking this time of the year to reflect on all the best and worst moments of the year. I like recapping all the different ways I've fallen, yet grown as an individual. I like thinking about all the people in my life and how blessed I feel because of them. So of course, I wanted to take some time and share my list of things I'm thankful for this year.

1.

I'm thankful for my ability to freely worship God and continuing to grow a relationship with him. The fact that he consistently loves, forgives and blesses me as much as he does is absolutely amazing and takes my breath away.

I am thankful for the life I lead, even with all it's craziness. I live a pretty great life/ Although there are a few things I would like to change about it, I shouldn't even complain. As hectic as things can get, it's filled with awesome adventures that keep me on the go!

I am thankful for having encouraging family & friends who allow me to care for them at the large capacity that I do. I am thankful for having encouraging family & friends that care for ME at the large capacity that they do.

I am thankful for the ability to make my own decisions and decide to live the life I please.

I am thankful to wake up in and go home to a warm bed every day in an apartment with food and necessities.

I am thankful for the love of my life, Gedalya "Gman" Krycer. He allows me to hug him tight even when he can't breathe, squish his face because I find it so cute, deals with my Charlie Brown & Harry Potter obsessions, listens to me obsess about certain kinds of food on a daily basis and simply loves, cares and respects me as not only his girlfriend, but as a female. I am thankful that he allows me to be a part of his life and be his best friend every day.

I am thankful to have a job that encourages me to be the best professional I can be and gives me the opportunity to work with inspiring people.

I am thankful for the opportunities I've had and the projects I've worked on, no matter how easy or how difficult.

It was so exciting getting to see my work in a published magazine. See my article and the shoot I coordinated in Avant Garde Magazine's May Issue (starting on pg 20)

I am thankful for all the yummy foooooooooooooooood on the planet! Likeee pizza, ice cream, pizza, pasta, pizza, salad, fruit, pizza and pizza.

Lastly, I am thankful that I am healthy, alive and moving & grooving.

Ohhhh! And I am thankful for the creative minds of J.K. Rowling & Charles Schulz because without them I wouldn't have been able to read about an extraordinary boy who lived under the stairs and read comics/watch short movies about another boy who had the worst luck, but was still a kind hearted individual who simply tried.

Thankful for YOU guys too. Seriously, thanks for even reading my blog. You guys are major blessings in my life because you allow me to share my passions & thoughts with you.
