Tobi // Fashion Favorites
Well HELLO there, my gorgeous babes!
It’s been quite a while since my last fashion post. I actually had a few exciting things happen recently, so I was super focused on all that. I just moved out of my Mom’s house and moved across town! I’m so excited to have a bit more independence and do more “adulting” LOL.
There’s a part of me that feels like I was pretty sheltered growing up, so taking this next step for myself is something great, even if I’m experiencing it a little later in life. But hey, better late than never :) I think things happen for a reason, and a good one at that. I learned many lessons that helped prepare me for this part of my life. I’m ready to take hold of the reins of this new adventure and apply what I’ve learned from my past experiences. So far, so good! However, I will say that I definitely feel old. Granted, I may look like I’m only 15 years old, but don’t let the Asian glow fool you ;)
This week, I wanted to share a few new looks with you all from Tobi. I've browsed this website so many times because I just loooooooooooooooove their styles and looks. It's a mix of trendy, sexy and comfy clothes that just makes the art of dressing up on a day to day basis just that much more enjoyable. After trying on and wearing a few of their pieces in different outfits, I've narrowed down my favorite styles for the blog today.
This Above All Lace Halter Top is such a classy top. I find it comfortable, sexy, and a very versatile piece. I love the slightly open back and how this accentuates my shoulders. What I find interesting is that most laced pieces have the potential to be itchy. The nude lining on this garment makes this top super easy to wear.
I paired it with my crocheted Raga LA butterfly skirt. I thought the detailed crocheting in both pieces and the monochromatic match brought the two garments together really well. Safe to say, my instinct was correct!
You know what this Sunbeam Lace Skater Skirt makes me feel like? A FREAKING. BALLERINA. Haha! In all honesty, I think it's the tulle, but regardless, I absolutely love it. The pastel blue is such a pretty contrast against my pink Aldo bralette and white Zara onesie.
Instead of going super girly on this piece, I added a faded acid wash denim jacket and a black crocheted choker. I was inspired by the 80's when many gals matched their tutu skirts and denim together, kind of like in Teen Witch (If you haven't watched this movie, then I just made your weekend plans for you!)
Now this little numbaaa right hurrrrrrr *insert heart eye emojis here* This Nina Front Tie Skater Dress is my favorite piece out of the three Tobi items. I mean just LOOK AT IT. Lol! I'm loving the front tie with the deep neck line. I don't have many black dresses in my closet that I absolutely love since I love wearing prints and color. But this one takes that cake, cake, cake!
This skater dress is great for a night out when you wanna wear something comfy and sexy. I don't really have a lot of late nights, but this dress makes me want to walk the Vegas streets and paint the town red! ;) Haha!
